In 2002 during my second year of studying a degree in Art & Design, IT and Business Management, I began as a part-time graphic designer at MMM, - a live communication agency based in Worcester.
Having begun at MMM in a supporting role within the creative department, I assisted in the creation of graphics for event advertising, branding and presentation material. My role and responsibilities within the department grew quickly and by the end of 2002, I was creating 3D visualisations that MMM would use to propose environment and set designs to their clients. In 2003 I graduated from Worcester University with 2:1 honours, and was offered a full time position at MMM. My role grew through the following years, becoming a 'brand ambassador' for a number of Blue Chip clients such as Vodafone, Currys, HP and Office Depot. Controlling the work created for these companies involved continuous communication with the client(s), extracting accurate briefs and ensuring quality control was monitored throughout every project. From the initial kick-off meetings discussing the event or brief, to being onsite ensuring the client was satisfied with all creative work, the role brought me a sense of satisfaction ensuring MMM's creative services met and excelled their clients' expectations. During this period I have become an advanced Powerpoint designer, creating fully animated linear and interactive presentations that have won pitches and left lasting impressions on clients. I also use various interactive CD-ROM authoring software should more advanced interactive programs or presentations be required. Since 2005, I also now offer the creation of video compositions as a core skill. I have created a number of video compositions for various uses, from highly-impactful show openers and speaker idents, to video work solely designed to successfully present conceptual pitch ideas to clients. Should you wish to see these, they are within my portfolio alongside my other work. Well that's me in a nutshell... I love working in teams yet also completely comfortable directing/driving projects by myself. I am used to extreme pressure, working throughout many nights meeting clients' demands and the tightest of deadlines and 100% comfortable and professional when client facing. - However demanding they happen to be!
